The program objective was to develop an advanced, affordable recording/ mixing console for consumer use in the home. A prime goal was to develop a console of superior quality and design at a cost-competitive price, allowing a high level of visual interest, intuitive ergonomics and the incorporation of leading-edge engineering and manufacturing techniques.

Consumer comfort and visibility were of prime importance for operators. The end result was an innovative relationship between the console and its user. Proper ergonomic placement of input module controls, development of intuitive graphic layouts and graphic equalizers, as well as aesthetics that the user can be drawn to both technically and emotionally, make this product a winner. More than meets the eye and ear, this product constitutes numerous cost-effective manufacturing breakthroughs that bring innovation to the human interface, for state-of-the-art control of sound.
