develop a Microchip Test Head
Manipulator to insure repeatable
docking between the 700-lb.
test head and a Handler/Prober
Apparatus. This new design allows
a 120-lb. female to ergonometrically
manipulate and dock a 700-lb.
test head to its Handler or
Prober with a repeatable accuracy
of
± .005".
An
extensive degree of ergonometric
research, safety consideration,
Engineering and Manufacturing
specifications were formulated,
then implemented through to
production via the unique Development
DNA approach. The resulting
design is a proper balance
between user requirements and
technical requirements, expressed
through advanced aesthetics
and visual interest supported
by intuitive ergonomics and
cost-effective manufacturing.
