a rugged, highly portable, all-weather
aircraft maintenance aid that
provides instant graphic and
text instructions for on-site
aircraft maintenance procedures
for both military and commercial
applications. The resulting
PMA's design meets all challenges
via its physical configuration
and optimized material selection,
using a bi-injection molding
process with thermoplastic elastomer
acting as a means for waterproofing
as well as shock absorption.
The physical housing design
and manufacturing techniques
allow advanced ergonometric
user-centered design and compliance
with stringent MIL (military)
specs.
The manufacturer feels
that this product has set new
standards for cost-effective
military products developed
within a condensed time-to-market.
