MIDI's
focus on developing "next-step" solutions for the
security market has lead to the
proposed Biometric Hand Reader.
Our effort focused on the development of a primary biometric identification
device for border security in addition to commercial use. This new
standard for identification verification is complemented by the
advanced, user-centered ergonomic design, which solves several design
challenges, such as: information/user interaction, environmental,
and patron thruput. The design yields a highly cost-effective, robust
biometric unit possessing visual interest that is universally appealing,
subtle (non-threatening), and intuitive. |
